During a Case Management Conference on May 30, 2003, Scientology attorney Andrew Wilson stated that they had settled with Bob Minton and the Lisa McPherson Trust and would be filing a dismissal with prejudice. This was confirmed by Nicole Simon, attorney for Minton and the LMT.

Wilson also stated that the cult would be filing a summary judgment motion during June against Armstrong.

Judge Lynn Duryee set a further status conference for August 29, 2003.
