Church of Scientology and Mary Sue Hubbard v. Gerald Armstrong

To the Justices presiding:

I, Lorna Levett, of 607, 209 - 8th Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta,
Canada, am an ex-Scientologist.

I was a Scientology franchise holder from January 1968 to
February 1974, when I resigned and publicly criticized
Scientology's intimidation of critics, its abuse of its own
membership, and its use of religion as a front for its corrupt
activities (see attached).

Since that time, I have been sued unsuccessfully several times by
the Scientology organization (see attached). I have been
harassed in numerous ways, including having "Freedom" newspapers
handed out by Scientologists, accusing me of being a blackmailer,
an embezzler, a drug addict, a destroyer of marriages, of being
under the control of psychiatrists, and so on.

I am still active in exposing this frightening cult, and still
taking extra precautions to protect my life and sanity.

Informed knowledge is the only immunization against this disease.

Please, for the sake of freedom of choice, freedom of speech and
the public's right to information, support Gerald Armstrong's
brave effort to have the background records of Scientology
founder L. Ron Hubbard made public.

For the sake of those who will otherwise become victims of this
cult, and of its efforts to silence all criticism, please make
the facts available to the public.
