Of course, for Scientologists (with the proviso that intelligence is
senior to tech) looking at things with an "open mind" means that
you
have been diagnosed as PTS Type (h). From HCOPL 27 October 1964
POLICIES ON PHYSICAL HEALING, INSANITY AND "TROUBLESOME SOURCES"
©
1964 L. Ron Hubbard:
<start fair use quote>
[h] Persons who "have an open mind" but no personal hopes or
desires
for auditing or knowingness should be ignored, as they really don't
have an open mind at all, but a lack of ability to decide about things
and are seldom found to be very responsible and waste anyone's efforts
"to convince them".
[...]
To summarize troublesome persons, the policy in general is to cut
communication as the longer it is extended the more trouble they are.
I know of no case where the types of persons listed above [PTS types
a-j] were handled by auditing or instruction. I know of many cases
where they were handled by firm legal stands, by ignoring them until
they changed their minds, or just turning one's back.
[...]
Scientology works. You don't have to prove it to everyone. People
don't deserve to have Scientology as a divine right, you know. They
have to earn it. This has been true in every philosophy that sought
to better man.
[Of course elsewhere Hubbard says that before Scientology there has
been no workable philosophy, so his use of these "unworkable"
philosophies to support his decree that people have to earn
Scientology is a little, well, Hubbardian.]
THE STRESS OF POLICY
All the above "Troublesome Sources" are also forbidden
training and
when a person being trained or audited is detected to belong under the
above headings (a) to (j) he or she should be advised to terminate and
accept refund which must be paid at once and the full explanation
should be given them at that time. Thus the few may not, in their own
turmoil, impede service to and the advance of the many. And the less
enturbulence you put on your lines, the better, and the more people
you will eventually help.
Scientology is an applied philosophy designed and developed to make
the able more able. In this sphere it is tremendously successful.
Efforts to involve philosophy with medical imperialism, psychiatric
sadism, the bigoted churchman, bring about a slowing of our progress.
These people are sick spiritually because of their own continuous
harmful actions against patients and the society and are beyond our
normal means to help.
<end quote> --L. Ron Hubbard
Scientologists, with all the "best intentions," "
know"
that if they
just disconnect from the PTS types a-j, in this case "type (h), the
so-called PTS persons might take the opportunity to rethink the errors
of their ways and "destimulate," come to their senses and
realize that
Scientology is their only hope after all. In the meantime, it would
be appropriate for a Scientologist to give the PTS persons time to
avoid "rash" conclusions which, when acted upon, might
necessitate
being labeled SP/fair game. Scientologists "know" that once
someone
has been labeled "fair game," there is really no
"hope."
In the meantime, when Scientologists can give you plenty of time,
that is the amount of time by which they think they are saved from the
"enturbulence" that you would otherwise inflict on them by
reason of
your open mindedness. This is one way they "handle suppression."
Confronting someone else's critical thinking processes, especially
when directed toward the subject of Scientology, is almost unbearable
for a Scientologist.
Staff contracts are not enforceable, this is true. In my experience,
Scientologists, very often pattern their conduct against how much
auditing time it will take them in their eligibility sec checks to
confess this or that, or how much their freeloader bill will be if
they "blow" from their contract. But money should not continue
to be
the criterion by which you measure your attitude about Scientology.
You can be free of Scientology, their contracts, and their pathetic
"price of freedom" just by declaring, "today I am a
wog."
Try it.

Of course those aren't the only possibilities. Scientology would like
it to appear as if those are the only possibilities. But they are not.
The abuses and criminality of the Scientology cult can be exposed and
opposed without "getting back at them."
Scientology would like to think of their failed cases, their "
flaps"
as "professional victims." This only makes their fair game
edicts
less unpalatable to the agents who execute these orders. Still, you
don't have to buy the "professional victim" label. You have paid
enough already. And unlike how it is in Scientology, there are many
options for you in the wog world.
The whole experience is the experience of fraud. Scientology does not
work. So demand your money back, demand recompense for the ripped off
years, expose the fraud, abuse and criminality, do what you can with
your experiences to prevent others from being defrauded and abused.
You know, do what any ethical wog would do.
