FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Gerry
Armstrong
just got back from the International Kegel Competition (IKC) Fall Classic,
where
he walked away with the coveted Ratten König Prize. This award, which is
given to only one kegeler annually, is named for the Königs who were from
European Royal Families in former times. Kegeling, although not directly
related
to pelvic muscle exercises, is nevertheless a demanding sport requiring
strength,
endurance and control.
In addition
to being named the 2002 Ratten König, Armstrong drove away with the only
Cucurbita Maxima Trophy also awarded this year. (See photos).
Although exhausted from the competition and the grueling return trip to his
altitude
training facility, he has just announced that he is giving serious
consideration
to turning semipro in the Spring.
