"You see, take a gun (they are all
over the place), put a bullet in there (also easy). Now locate the whereabouts
of Gerry (requires some doingness), then go to him (take a plane, that's fastest),
wait for him (at some place), pull your gun (does not require much musclepower),
then aim (some will have problems with this), and finally pull the trigger..(keep
your hand steady or you'll miss altogether). Easy no?" Spacetraveler

Repost of my post: "Scientology Now and Then...":
To read about Gerry, move on to the last paragraph...
There is something that people need to understand. The present CoS (or since
the take over early 80s) has no intend to free people. A plan has been
deviced to make Scientology unworkable, slowly and that it would not be too
obvious. We have things like "still needle" (early 80s) and later the
big
scam about GAT ('golden age of technology'). The absurd raise in prizing for
services and this being totally in explicit violation of LRH policy on the
matter is also part of the play.
At the same time as you are altering the technology in your official Church,
you in fact will be hunting down ANY who uses the technology as it was
originally intended by L. Ron Hubbard, you call these simply 'Squirrels',
and you hunt them down utterly ruthlessly. This is the role that 'Religious
Technology Center' came to play. That story folds out if you read their
magazines. 'Religious Technology Center' is supposedly holding the
copyrights, which in fact it does not. Created somewhere in 1982 as I
recall.
The SOLE intend of CoS is to make the technology disappear, to get it out of
sight. Say to people: "This is Scientology!" When in fact it is only
an
altered version of it, a squirreled version of it, a version that will not
give you the expected results. And you know what, L. Ron Hubbard predicted
all this to happen in detail already in 1952.
Why is this done like that? First you can rob people, get all of their
money, invent things like IAS (playing on your bad conscious to make you
give money without giving you anything in return). And as long you can keep
the public convinced that it is still pure unaltered Scientology that they
are receiving, they will not look for it elsewhere. Now if some would have
forbidden Scientology to be practiced altogether, well then it would be
obvious, people will start looking for the technology and now they are not
doing that. You see, you have to mislead people, letting them believe that
they have the real thing, when in fact it is not the real thing. You made
them believe that, this is smart, very smart. To be able to get away with
this you need to develop a scheme, some things will have to be implemented,
once you have done that (secured that people will not be able to go free
with their altered version of the technology), then you can move on to the
next step. Which is using PR tricks, repeat certain information all of the
time, punch up some area and take those statistics and say time after time
"unprecedented expansion" (Miscavige is very fond of this phrase). It
would
be interesting though to actually go to all these places which have been
punched up at all those events, and actually look at how they are doing
since...yes, this would be interesting...
A simple check up... Where are all the old trained staff that knew their
'thing', who were personally trained by L. Ron Hubbard, who have learned the
technology as per the 'old school', and so on.... They are disappearing, why
is this so? All you got to do is fake some Comm Evs, get them 'wronged' for
some reason, get them onto RPF, or something. See to it that they are
mispleased, forbid them to use their knowledge, for some faked reason. Then
they will leave, and if they start practicing Scientology, then you can go
ahead and declare them. It's a long list of people who have endured this.
Just look about in the AOs, what you will see is a lot of youngsters, who
don't know how things used to be, these youngsters you can get to believe
anything. Especially if you also see to it that the 'old' material is
removed, nothing to check up on anymore now is there? I still recall the
order coming down the lines, get the old red volumes 'wasted'... You see,
you remove also all of the tracks of what you have been doing, you don't
give 'data', you get it out of the Qual Libraries, you don't store the
magazines. Namely if you would compare how it was in say 1970 or 1980 and
you compare that directly with how things are right now, then things will be
obvious. Even the most blinded individual will seriously start wondering
about some things... and you can not have people going round wondering, so
you don't store things anymore, you get it out, destroyed or whatever... And
THIS is what the present Church of Scientology is about... The 'changes'
have been implemented slowly...
Now what about the critics on the ARS? Well, they are just playing along
with the game as created by those who concocted the take over of the
organization back in the early 80s. Gerry Armstrong played an interesting
role in that. You pick a person (Gerry it came to be), you get him involved
in some supposed biography to be done on L. Ron Hubbard. You may add all
kinds of stuff in there, some authentic material, some not, doesn't really
matter. Then you play some game and let Gerry 'steal' that material. Then
still the material would not have any say in the matter as yet, because who
will say that this material is not faked? You can add credibility to the
authenticity of that 'material' in a very easy way, so what do you do?
Simple, you get the CoS summone Gerry to appear in court, and you let the
CoS representatives say: "Give our stuff back!" And now the cycle is
completed. ALL of the material (some faked or not) is considered authentic,
were it not so the CoS would not demand it back. In fact about all of the
stories that claim that L. Ron Hubbard faked his past is deriving from
Gerry's material, and that is actually interesting. So what is the story
about dear Gerry Armstrong, is he paid to do all of these things or not, at
least he earned a lot of money on it, did he not? The CoS paid him to be
silent about things, but as expected Gerry would not be silent. Gerry can
now start playing the role of his life, fully with the support of those who
started the scheme.
