In the mean time write a HALFDOZENx10 letters to CMU and Federal Law
Enforcement agencies about David S. Touretzky and his online promotion
of "EXPLOSIVE TECH:"

NOTE: BOMBS ONLY HAVE SEVERAL INTENDED USES ALL OF WHICH ARE
DESTRUCTIVE. INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PRODUCE SUCH DEVICES
ALSO ONLY HAVE ONE INTENDED USE: TO PRODUCE THOSE DEVICES
TO BE USED FOR THEIR INTENDED USE.

There should not even be any question about intent.

Now, my question is if someone(s) in U.S Federal Law
Enforcement is discriminating?

An Afro-American (Sherman Austin) went to jail for promoting
bomb instructions. David Touretzky who is a white CMU
professor, isn't prosecuted even though his website promotes
bomb instructions to this very day. Touretzky associates with
the extremists in ARS who have made numerous bomb threats and
death threats. Apparently Touretzky's intention is to stand
ground for "1st Amendment rights," of which Touretzky is not
an expert.

Note: David Touretzky is a professor in computer science and
involved with artificial intelligence research projects
using rats and a 'rat robot.' Touretzky's promotion of
bomb instruction on his personal CMU account is a
personal choice and has nothing to do with any authority
he may have, if any, at CMU. Even a U.S. Federal Judge
has stated that Touretzky is not an expert on "The 1st
Amendment." He also is not an official on explosives,
or is he secretly an explosives expert?

In the U.S., anyone can go into a crowded theatre and yell
"FIRE" (which is against the law) and just claim that he was
fighting for first amendment rights. But, try it and you will
find out that no one listens to your argument about freedom of
speech while you are taken down to the local police station,
then charged, tried and convicted. The same should be with
bomb instruction on the web.

What is worse, promoting bomb instruction which potentially
can create such an effect as the Oklahoma Federal Building
OR publicly announcing a fire in a crowded theatre which may
only cause a dozen or so people to be trampled?

Is this another "failure of imagination?"

IMAGINE THIS SCENARIO: A CMU Student is not happy with his
studies, his life, his girlfriend and also does a lot of
drugs and additionally isn't happy with his government (the
US Govt). He knows about David's website, so he makes some
fertilizer bombs and ends up destroying a few buildings on campus
killing several hundred...

That scenario is not "acceptable" but must be considered.
Will the U.S. Law Enforcement wait until it is too late.
They did with the events of Sept. 11, 2001.
